Rotganzen (est. 2009) is an art collective rooted in the traditions of American Pop Art and the Italian Radical Design movement.
By reimagining familiar icons in an unexpected context, Rotganzen creates work that evokes both surprise and a gentle sense of melancholy. Their refined, intricate approach to materials stands in striking contrast to the purity of their forms. For Rotganzen, art and design are a shared language—one that channels nostalgia into objects of deeper, personal resonance.
The three members of Rotganzen (Joeri Horstink, Erik Schilp and Robin Stam) operate as a singular artistic force, having created a range of timeless art pieces: Spotlight (2018), Bouncy (2019), the light sculpture STRAW (2022), and TOEF (2023). In 2024 they expanded their collection with the hand-made elm wood Tompouce table sculpture and Le Carré coffee table collection, adding the Pudding Lounge Chair to their furniture offering in 2026.
Their signature creation, Quelle Fête, has become a modern classic. First presented internationally in collaboration with Italian furniture manufacturer Gufram (Wallpaper* Design Award, 2019) and as dedicated collections for Kelly Wearstler, it has found fame through unique sculptural works, exclusive originals and limited editions. Coveted by collectors worldwide, it remains a defining emblem of Rotganzen’s singular vision.
